The short version
This website sets no cookies unless you agree to analytics. If you choose Reject, or simply ignore the banner, nothing is stored except the record of that choice, and no third party is contacted.

That is the whole list. There is no advertising, no profiling, no cross-site tracking, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
Why the first one is not a cookie
Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. A cookie is sent to the server on every single request; local storage is not. Storing a refusal in a cookie would mean transmitting data about you on every page view because you asked us not to. Local storage avoids that. You can clear it from your browser at any time.
Analytics, and consent
Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept. Before that, and permanently if you decline, Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising personalisation and ad user data, and the analytics script is not requested at all.
Accepting and rejecting are the same size, the same shape and equally easy to click. That is deliberate: the Belgian Data Protection Authority treats a banner that nudges towards acceptance as invalid consent.
Embedded video
Some pages show a video from Pulse Foundation’s YouTube channel. The video is not loaded
until you click play. Until then you see a still image served from our own infrastructure,
and YouTube is not contacted, so it can set nothing. When you do click, the video loads
from youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube may store data on your device under
its own privacy policy. Clicking play is your choice
to allow that.
Fonts, and what we deliberately avoid
The site’s fonts are served from our own servers, not from Google Fonts. Loading them from Google would send your IP address to Google on every page view, before you had agreed to anything.
Where the site is hosted
This website runs on Cloudflare Pages in an account belonging to Pulse Foundation. Documents such as annual reports are stored in Cloudflare R2 in the European Union (Western Europe region). Cloudflare processes technical request data, including IP addresses, to serve and protect the site; that is necessary for the site to work at all and is covered by our privacy statement.
Changing your mind
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. It clears your stored choice and asks again. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Nothing on this site stops working if you refuse.
